Answers without the hold.
A tech in the field has a question. The old answer was: call the manufacturer, sit on hold, wait while someone searches the same documentation you could have read yourself.
The problem
Every trade runs on equipment from a handful of manufacturers, and every manufacturer has a help line. When a technician hits something they don't recognize — a quirk, an error, an integration detail — the reflex is to call. Then comes the hold music, the hand-off, and the wait while a help-desk rep searches their own manuals for the line the tech needs. The answer was usually already written down somewhere. The cost was never the answer. It was the time spent getting to it — multiplied by every tech, every call, every job.
What runs
Mine works like this:
- We built our own searchable knowledge base from the manufacturers' published documentation — across the brands my technicians work with every day.
- A tech asks a question in plain language and gets a direct, sourced answer in seconds — pulled from the actual manuals, integration guides, and known-issue notes.
- It lives on a simple web app any tech can open from the field, on whatever device is in their hand. No login queue, no hold music, no hand-off.
- When a tech learns something the documentation doesn't cover, that hard-won fix can be written back in — so the next person gets it for free.

The honest part
Not a brochure case study — a tool my technicians use on real jobs. If your team burns time chasing answers that already exist somewhere, the Walk-Through finds it: a ranked list of the small wins sitting in your operation, no obligation to build any of it.
